corpus logo   Lexels

Most lexels have a unique label, as seen under column lexel.
In some cases those labels are either described further (e.g. because the lexel is a conjectured Old English word), or because the same label is split into different categories, like different senses of the same lemma in a dictionary (e.g. we have two lexels with label 'again': one for the default sense of the word, and one for the sense of 'back'). In those cases we use the column meaning/function subcategory to add this extra information or differentiate the labels respectively. The column subcategory type just adds a meta-description of meaning/function subcategory.
